Shipping, Returns & Refund Policy

Shipment/Delivery Info for delivery within India :-

 a) The Furniture goods (except small home decorative) are delivered by Road/Surface through Reputed Cargo companies l.Other than production time, the transit time varies from 5-15 days depending on the travelling distance from Hyderabad.

 b) Though no additional taxes/permit required in GST but in case in future if any STATE/UT have 'octroi', 'other taxes' & 'Entry Permit' for delivery then it is to be paid/arranged by the buyer.

 c) For heavy furniture items the door delivery will be considered as Ground floor/premises delivery & not inside the house. On exceptional cases we shall arrange upper floor delivery by taking quote from cargo and those charges can be mutually agreed between cargo & buyer and can be paid directly to cargo person at the time of upper floor delivery.We shall not be liable for any damages/issues occurred in attempting upper floor delivery as this is not a part of our service.

 Also 'Open package delivery' is not provided by the cargo at this moment.But if the packing is found in torn/damage condition,then buyer needs to make a remark on the receiving copy for the same.

 d) Other than 4-5 Weeks approx production time, we also have 10-15 days labor holiday on 'Holi', 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Deepawali' festival.Kindly consider the holidays if the Production time is clashing with these holidays.Also if any natural calamity (including Covid-19 kind of situation) which hampers the production will be not considered as delay in production timelines.

August-September in each year is monsoon season, slight delay is also expected in rainy season (if heavy consistent rains/humid weather) as woodwork & polishing gets affected.

 e) Though it is Free shipping  to all the direct offices of the Road/Surface cargo companies whom we are working within India but in some areas where there is no direct offices of the cargo extra shipping will be charged. We will let you know the extra shipping cost if any so that you can make your mind for accepting or canceling the order. In RARE cases NO delivery can be done to a NON Cargo branch area if the Road cargo is unable to arrange the delivery further from their nearest city branch office. Hence it is always wise to contact us for confirming the delivery station specifically for small district/towns or extreme areas with weak delivery channel from our city. Even if the buyer do not contact us pre-purchase we are always open for immediate refund if the delivery is not possible.

For example:- J&K except Jammu and North-East States of India have weak or no delivery channel by Road cargo from our city so kindly cross check with us about the possibility of delivery before making the purchase to avoid refund process.

f) Please keep your delivery address and contact details updated before purchasing. Incorrect/incomplete address/contact no. if provided can delay the shipment and no blame should be given to us or cargo for this.

Also special delivery on Sunday or late hour delivery cannot be managed by us as it is beyond our direct control. So please do not demand us for such time/day bounded deliveries.

Assembly of furniture:-

We provide free assembly in 9 cities.In case due to some reason our assembly team is not able to arrange free assembly in those 9 Cities then we reimburse 500 INR/SET to customer to arrange easy self assembly or local carpenter assembly through their own contacts.The Spanner comes along with the goods for easy assembly process.This is for cities where we provide Free assembly.

We are providing Free Assembly for Dining set/king & queen size Bed/Sofa set to following cities, we shall add more cities in future :- Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Gurgaon and Faridabad.

 

Exceptional case of Transit damages/Returns :-

*Open delivery is not provided so kindly check the packaging thoroughly and if you find the packing in torn condition than please make a remark on the receipt before accepting the damaged packing such as 'Goods received with damaged packing'.

**After opening the package if the goods are also find in damaged condition than you need to inform us/email the picture of the damaged product to us within 2-3 days of receipt of the goods with order reference number at:-  info@timbercraft.in

We shall evaluate the extent of damage and let you know if this can be easily fixed locally (minor/moderate damages) and shall send the required material and also bear the reasonable local carpenter cost Or, this needs to be replaced/returned by us (major damages).

***Please save the packing material with you until we reach to an outcome, as Buyer have to take care for the repacking of goods(same/ equivalent) in case of replacement/refund by us.We do not reimburse for re-packing or provide re-packing staff, so saving the original packing is important to re-use. In exceptional cases if we are unable to provide replacement, we reserve the right to refund in full, after the product is picked up by cargo.

 

Refunds related with Cancellation of order:-

 

In exceptional case of refund requested by seller (Timber Craft)  the refund shall be provided in full (without any interest/claim/compensation) and will be refunded to the same account from which originally paid by the buyer. In this case the refund shall be initiated by us and will take 3-5 working days by our payment gateway provider to provide final refund.We reserve the right to cancel the full/part order at any stage of production with or without buyers consent, in case we are unable to make it due to some unavoidable reason.

In case of refund requested by buyer within 24 hrs of the purchase  then, refund shall be provided with 10% cancellation charges for non-shipped items and for shipped items shipping costs/return shipping charges/10% cancellation charges will be deducted.These cancellation charge is to cover our expenses on payment gateway fees / commission etc.In exceptional case where the product is ready, we reserve the right to not to cancel the order.

In case of refund requested by buyer after 24 hrs of the purchase  then, refund shall be provided with 20% cancellation charges for non-shipped items and for shipped items shipping costs / return shipping charges / 20% cancellation charges will be deducted.These cancellation charge is to cover our expenses on payment gateway fees / commission / production initiation expenses etc.In exceptional case where the product is ready, we reserve the right to not to cancel the order.

Refund shall be provided to the same account from which originally paid by the buyer. Once refund initiated it will take 3-5 working days by our payment gateway provider to provide final refund.In rest other situations mutual agreement shall be required.

 Customized orders cannot be canceled by buyer at any cost.
