Most teak wood bed frames are on legs and not casters or wheels and are often higher than metal ones. In the long run it is a good investment. A good quality child's bed can be later moved to a guest room. The costs have been greatly reduced lately because of the availability of sustainable wood from around the world. The sizes include double, twin, queen, king and California king and have headboards footboards, slats to support the mattress and side rails if needed. There are headboards that have inset faux or genuine leather as a style statement.
